Tokyo Game Show 2007: Impress TV Impressions

Impress TV has put up some mini interviews with the various PR folks from the major booths at the Tokyo Gsme Show 2007. You can view them all to catch clips of game play (the concept of the TGS this year must be, "playability,") but they are in Japanese. As an aside, the host chick is not that cute to look at but she does seem to know her stuff which is better than the other fake gamer bitches.

Leading Hype Hoggers:

Sony Booth: Hypes the PS3 and PSP, mainly "White Knight Story," for the former and "Minna no Golf 2" for the PSP (and it's revealed that the purple and blue PSP are the top sellers amongst the ladies.) Giving away...a card game for their "Eye of Judgment" promotion.

Microsoft Booth: No surprise, the hype revolves around "Halo 3," and they might have mentioned "Ace Combat 6." Giving away...NOTHING!?

Capcom: Biohazard: "Umbrella Chronicles" (and the Wii Zapper), "Wii Love Golf," "Basara 2" and "Devil May Cry 4." Giving out DVDs, Stickers, DMC keychains, towels.

Tecmo: The Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword DS Portable and another Golf game!? GODDAMN. Giving away mainly Ninja goodies like posters. And "LOTRO" complete with an official cosplayer, aka, "LOTRO Image Girl" nicknamed, "Yubiwakko," or "Ring Girl." *snicker* And "War Rock" for some reason. This section had lots of bitches in bathing suits and all chick PR people. Take that! If you don't have a lot to show, show skin!

Taito: Cooking Mama 2. MOAR RECIPES. WANDAFUUU. Arkanoid and Space Invaders!? Giving away...Cooking Mama 2 erasers shaped like fruit (SO CUTE) and a Space Invaders hankie (SUPER CUTE.)

Marvelous Entertainment: "No More Heroes" for the Wii. You talk to the hero through the "Wii Phone"!! (Well, you hold the Wii remote up to your ear.) Giving away...a pamphlet, a "Lux Pain" light novel and a "King's Tale" crown (WTF--BK rip off.) Oh, but then they redeem themselves by allowing you to take a pic with Princess Apricot some asian bitch with blond hair. WIN!

...

PHEW!
