Sangokushi Online: New Movie & Open Beta Starts 9/27/07

From what I can see there isn't anything about foreign accounts being IP banned. As for the language barrier, according to a "First Look" review I read on the Japanese site "Game Watch," the reviewer's one complaint about the game was the "impossible" loads of ancient Kanji to read, so maybe it won't make a difference if you can or can't read Japanese. Per the reviewer, while the suffocating amounts of Kanji added to the over all ambiance of the game, unfortunately, because it some missions were hard to get information for...for example, "Hey, does anyone know where Keishuu is? Urr, Kaishuu? Keisha?"

Sangokushi Online Open Beta Test Announced

Per Sangokushi Online, closed beta has ended and play open service aka, open beta, will be starting at the end of September, 2007 for this MMO based on Koei's "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" series.

No news (to me) yet if there are any plans about when, or if it will be brought to English speakers, but I wouldn't mind seeing it over here at all. *purr purr* If there's no IP block, I may just have to sign up and report!

Sangokushi Online (Romance of the Three Kingdoms Online)

Here is a vid of Sangokushi Online's "Gassen," ("Battle/Engagement") play test session. For us it would be a large scale, Realm vs Realm (Faction vs Faction) battle. The video is the 2nd in an 8 part series (much of which was a lot of running around) and showcases the immense 40+ minute battle.
