Perfect World (Korea): The 30,000 Player Sign Up Event

According to MMOFAN, starting 9/3/07, Perfect World Korea will begin its "30,000 Player Sign Up Event."

That is, should they receive 30,000 total sign ups they will flip from Closed Beta to...ta da...Open Play! Currently, there are roughly 10K folks signed up with more signing up every day. You can also check in game to see the number of increasing sign ups in game.

I'm sure if they carried this plan over to Perfect World Malaysia (the INT'L version), they'd have no choice but to release the beta like, a month ago. Heheh.
