Hokuto no Ken Online: CB Scheduled for December 2007.

I am SHOCK!

I thought this project got scrapped a long ass time ago. But once again, I was wrong because Gung Ho has announced that they will be holding Closed Beta for "Hokuto no Ken Online," (aka, Fist of the North Star Online) in December. According to the official website, the game was first delayed to appease fans, and so the card based combat system was changed to a fighting game-esque one. (For example, hold down the Z key and hit your mouse button for a round house.)

Hokuto not Ken Online will be running on an Australian engine called the "Big World" Engine.



Expect to see Ken, Toki, Raoul and Jagi in the game.

Of course, the service start has been delayed to improve upon the combat system and to upgrade the graphic quality per the headlines of June 29th, 2007. In the same document, Gungho writes that is still their aim to successfully bring about a 2007 Service Start date, though an estimate of how late in the year is not mentioned.
