Unreal Tournament 3: Character Customization

So like,

I was looking at shots of the Customization available in UT3 on some German website. If you've ever played UT before, you know that a big part of it is getting to make ridamdiculously unique characters.

I guess I get to use this one as a base?

UT3: Pre-Ordered!

It's done!

And in the meanwhile, I'm going to put the money I saved aside for "Crysis" on hold until I hear a bit more about it. I know I was swooning about it before but...Call of Duty has kinda' sucked me dry for time right now. :)

Plus, there's just something so incredibly irresistible about a Manta and a man that goes, RRRRRRAAAMMPAGEEEEEEE!!

Still working on getting my K/D Ratio positive but heh, that's what you get for actually trying to dom spots and shit right? (At least, that's my excuse.)

Curse you B in Bloc and Bog! You mock me!

I must get a good screenie of me blowing up miserably one of these days.

Unreal Tournament 3: Hmmm...UT3 T-Shirt or All the Games?

After all the positive and glowing reviews about GoGamer during the "Hellgate: London" shipping thing, at first I was going to go with GoGamer for pre-ordering simply because of their service and their...*sigh* T-Shirt.

But then I saw this at EB/Gamestop:

Two preorder bonus items:
  • Free in-game character Ariel Iron Clad.
  • Unreal Anthology with 5 games including Unreal, Return to Na Pali expansion, Unreal II: The Awakening, Unreal Tournament GOTY Edition and Unreal Tournament 2004 with Editors Choice Edition & Mega Bonus Pack.
I actually have these games somewhere but they apparently no longer work on my computer but still...that's a pretty sick deal for just the "bonus" to a collector's edition which includes:

Unreal Tournament III: Collector's Edition is encased in a special tin hard cover. Included is an Art Book featuring the flawless art style found in the vehicles, characters, weapons and environments that are signature trademarks of the Unreal Tournament 3 universe. In addition, the limited collector's edition includes bonus DVD extras, featuring:
  • Unreal Engine 3 Toolkit Video Tutorials - More than 10 hours of in-depth tutorials about game modifications that can help players break into the game development business
  • The History of Unreal Tournament - Take a look at the history of Unreal Tournament, while hearing first-hand interviews with the creators and team behind the legacy.
  • Behind the Scenes of Unreal Tournament 3 - Get a deeper look behind the making of the FPS giant and how the dedicated team at Epic Games crafted its return.

I love art books so this is actually a CE I care about (unlike the crappy ass PC CE for COD4--worthless). Plus the T-Shirt only comes in L so it won't look as cute--I'm sure I can find a place that has a cuter version with the logo online anywaste.

Bounce bounce bounce.

Excitement!

Of course, I won't be able to play a lot since it's a big time cooking/get together weekend.

<3 Manta

The Manta is my brand new friend.

Though I tend not to use vehicles that much as I prefer the hover board, if I could whore a vehicle all round, it would be the Manta because it hops, it bops and pancakes people so nicely. Shame on you dick heads that take the Manta and camp the spawns though. That is gay.

So many games to get!!

Unreal Tournament 3: Fave Weapons So Far...?

So, lately I've been having me a taste of some UT3 thanks to the dericious demo. It's been so long since I played the original that I had to prod myself into bunny hopping (else I'd be slaughtered by the evil rocket splash) the first few practice rounds, but once the jump fest began and I started to hear, "MULTI-KILL" I was in happy happy frag land.

Anyhoo, mah fave weapons so far.

At #3, the Rocket Launcher:

Oh noes! In 3rd Place? What am I retarded? No, I'm not. I love seeing my opponents body parts splashed all over the oh so chinky pagodas of Shangri-la but something about all the hopping and bopping just doesn't give me the physical satisfaction of the kill.

#2:

The Minigun! WHIRrrRRRRrrrr. Body pizarts everywhere! I love that sound!

And finally, coming in at #1 (for me at least!)

The plain jane Enforcer!

So vanilla! So blah! So not cool! And yet, killing someone with one is such sweetness. And for double killing fun, just add another one! It's MMmMmm good!

Anyhoo, like I said before, just give it a go. It's FREEEeeeeeeeeEEEe. (Oh, and the bots are still fun to take on too.)
