Crap Attack: Flavor of Love 3 Finale Monday 5/19/08 @ 21:00 EDT

As much as I hate to admit it, I watch VH1's "Flavor of Love 3." People love train wrecks, and there is nothing more broke ass than this show.

I knew I was done for when I caught my sorry ass cheering when Thing 2 came back on the show. Yes, a wave of sadness crashed over me for a moment there, but thanks to a bucket of ice cream, I overcame it. Anyhoo, but I hope she does well in Paris!

Meanwhile, if you thought the show was a mess, you need to check out the forums as well. There is so much goodness. Here is someone eloquently stating why the Twins (my Twins!) were ugly! The nerve!

RE: THE TWINS ARE NOT UGLY

They hasbustd grillz
They has bustd weeves
They hasthey outfits from Rainbow for $5.99
They has gone comits INCHEST w/FLAVE
They be hatas an sneeks
Thing 2 ant got no A!#
Thing 1 eatin to many biskits
They be egnorernt
I done has no love for them twin but I do says this that Thing 2 prolly really be down for Flave. Thing 2 to busy blowin fat greesy calvin.
Ahhh, so good. They never fail to put a smile on my face.

On that note, back to work!

Movies: Goku Revealed & Thor & the A-Team as well!?

Too much information (read: rumours) to process so early on a Monday morning! But I am such a suckah for train wreck movies based on comics news.

So first off, let's discuss the "Dragonball" incoming craptavaganza.

The comments by people who've seen the pic are pretty favourable but...this may also be their first adventure onto the big ole' intranets. Or as Flavor Flav would put it, "SAY WHAAAA!?"

And wasn't Emily Rossum in a real movie with Gerald Butler? (Phantom of the Opera.) But I guess now she gets to be Bulma. Same with Chow Yun Fat. Pay them bills!

Yes, we all know things are going to be quality when they hire from the immense talent pool that is the cast of the Real World.

Dragonball-live posted what appears to be our first look at Justin Chatwin as Goku. The scan was said to be taken from Shonen Jump #24 in Japan.

UPDATE: Higher quality scan thanks to Sour Mikan. Click to enlarge.

http://dbthemovie.com/images/hq.jpg

Sour Mikan informs me that the scan is from Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 24 which is available officially this Monday.

I saw the same picture at Shonen Jump Spoiler forum in Japan.
#24 is available at Monday officialy.
I hope official website will update something at Monday.

Along with that he also provides us with a translation.

I’ll grant you a wish…!!

Rumor after rumor but [now] Dragonball live action movie finally comes true !
Director James Wong of Final Destination, and producer the revolutionary film maker Stephen Chow of Shaolin Soccer. Remarkable casts are Son Goku is Justin Chatwin who played Tom Cruise’s son at Steven Spielberg movie War of the Worlds, and Master Roshi is Chow yun-fat of Pirates of the Caribbean.

All Dragonball fan’s wish are granted now ! We will continue to offer new information to you on Jump Cinema Island !

And the Chinese character on the Goku’s T-shirts is “Un”(means luck, fate, fortune)

We’ll keep you updated on any new developments. And while your processing this new information, why not check out the newly revamped crew page.

And now for some A-Team and Thor news courtesy of the Latino Review:

Lemme cut to the chase. Here's what the studios would like to see:

Thor = Brad Pitt!

Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith = Bruce Willis!

I'm actually all for those two choices, so hopefully one of them gets confirmed soon.

Silly Jimmy Kimmel

I don't normally watch late night shows, but for some reason, Jimmy Kimmel's alright in my book. I think it's hormones, but I found this pretty funny (if you're a big celeb hag). Plus, I actually like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, and it's good to see that the other folks in the video aren't total douchebags like some other celebs seem like.

Mecha Mecha Iketeru!

Ahhh, I've actually been skimping on my gaming time lately because I recently found the "Mecha Mecha Iketeru" specials on Stage 6. Their big deal is springing pop quizzes on celebrities a la, pop C.A.Ts (although I don't even know if they still give those out) and then crowning the "dumbest" celeb which NO ONE wants. Anyhoo, it's like "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader ~ Celebrity Edition," only, people actually want to get on the show and prove how stupid they are. (For example, labeling Canada as "Pakistan" or "New York.")

Damn you terrible TV shows keeping me away from shooting people! (Although I can always pretend it's research for my translation!)

Anyhow, I just finished watching the "Sports Festival" featuring the Morning Musume. (I never liked them but they were funny as fuck trying to do the hurdles.) It's hella' funny. (Well, for me.)

And then my dumb ass found a show called "Bara no Nai Hanaya," (A Flower Shop Without A Rose.) Talk about tear fest. I started crying during the first fuckin' five minutes. EVIL! I think there is a subbed version out there but not sure. If so, check check it out if you like tear jerkers and former/current JPOP boy banders (SMAP for your face!) Actually, I don't, but damn it sucked me in.

I just found a bunch of episodes of "Galileo," which I guess is like CSI: Tokyo or some shit involving a physicist (sexy!) solving crime, so gonna' give it a try.

Oh, and of course I watched a bunch of the newer "Gaki no Tsukai" vids. For those of you who haven't heard about 'em, no matter what happens, they're not supposed to laugh...or else!

Go Pats!!

My throat is hella' hoarse from cheering my Pats on today. It was looking scary in the first half though I have to admit, but my Patties pulled through (good job Rodney Harrison for only getting caught once for a personal foul). Now to have a Colts/Pats Championship game (so we can destroy them again.)

Now while I was watching the game though I saw this commercial pop up (for Burger King's Spicy Chicken Sammich):

WaaaaaahhHhhhHHh! Saucy and dericious chicken!! Muy caliente!!

Originality Quest?

Hmm.

So, two guys (one a smaller dude, the other bigger, bald dude) travel to a bunch of different countries to train in the martial arts there...and then after a week of training, there's a big fight between a champion of that particular martial arts versus one of the two aforementioned guys?

...

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Okay, so the premise of "Fight Quest" ain't the MOST original, but as a martial arts lover, I had to check it out. To be honest, it ain't bad at all. Lots more blood and brutality than "Human Weapon," and the two hosts aren't as pussitastic as Jason Chambers and Bill Duff. Gonna' check out a few more episodes as I hear the Kali episode is a blood bath.

DERICIOUS!

And yes, they're like at the same time on Friday nights. Only "FQ" is on Discovery while "HW" is on the History Channel.

It's Coming! American Gladiators!

Anyone around my age has seen the "American Gladiators." Even if you didn't want to, you saw them. They were (literally) huge. I think the baddest bitch I remember was Blaze. And now they're coming back! (I think they show the old school episodes on ESPN classic, but I don't remember the times.)

I guess this Sunday at 9/8c (Prime time. I thought the original was in the morning?) on NBC "Gladiators" will be back hosted by Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali. This is going to be so bad it's good. (Just like "Pros vs Joes" though probably not as bone crunchingly good like when Goldberg moiders some guy from NJ.)

I was watching some previews on the official site, and some Asian guy is getting pwnt so I naturally have to tune in (like a douche) and cheer on my AZN brother.

Fight! Who's Sexier?

Eggplant Wizard vs...

King Hippo!!

Wish I could find that clip of where King Hippo says he's gonna' toss Eggplant Wizard's salad. DIRTY!! But sexy at the same time.

Fruit Cake For Your Face!!

You know, despite the horrible MMO Drought of 2007, life as a gamer didn't prove to be half as terrible as I expected it to be thanks to the awesome badness that was "Perfect World" and the goody SOVIET goodness of "Call of Duty 4."

Also, despite a ton of blah titles release, there was no obvious gaming fruit cake to be had...although if I had to pick, the closest to that would be actually subscribing to "HG:L". While I definitely enjoyed the game throughout beta and then the first month of release, subscribing proved not only useless--I waited it out but there will be NO new content this year--but a major hassle and let down as well. (At least I got my refund. A few folks I know have yet to.)

In the aftermath I'll just use the massive collector's edition box to prop up that one chair I have in the living room that's kinda' jiggly from repeated cat-attacks.

Anyhoo, here is my holiday gift to everybody!!

Maybe one day you'll thank me for it. Or not.

WAHAHA.

Happy Holidays!!

Spike's Video Game Awards

Okay, I'm a little slow writing about this but a few days ago they showed the "2007 Video Game Awards" on Spike TV. I seriously tried so hard to watch this but pretty much got bored within the first 5 minutes. I like Sam Jackson but he has no clue about video games and the "material" he got to read to open the show was like rejected shit from ABC's "Dinosaurs." (And trust me, they didn't reject much.)

Anyhoo, if any of you missed it and wanted to check out some high lights (I'm being generous), visit IFILMS:

http://www.ifilm.com/show/23733

But keep your standards low.

There are a bunch of half nekkid chicks and a lot of Asians in the crowd including ZOMGZ, A LISTER REALITY STAR TILA TEQUILA & TIA CARRERRE.

Wowwie zowwie.

Now if Johnny Fair Play or Steve-O showed up it would have been the bestest show evah. Oh shit, Steve-O really did show up.

They need to have a real gaming award show with real gamers (Cheetoes on the mother fuckin house!) Now THAT is a train wreck I need to be watching!

Asian Dramas FTW!! (If You're Sorry Like Me)

Lately I've been hooked on this website:

http://www.mysoju.com

It's got a TON of the most awesomely baddest (but so good) Asian dramas on it and all subtitled (although some are a bit suspect.)

Some of the awesomely bad assiest dramas:

Gokusen ~ About a skinny ass teacher from a Yakuza family and how she reforms her bad ass students. So predictably awesome. (Based on the manga of the same name.)

Hana Yori Dango ~ Some stupid poor girl gets all the hottest, richest guys in the school yet whines like a dirty slut. (But it's so good! Based on the manga of the same name.)

Jotei ~ Fucked up as high school drop out plots to become Japan's #1 hostest (Empress/Jotei) to get revenge on all the menz that "ruined" her life. Crazy plots include attempting to sleep with her dad to get back at him. OH NOES!! (Not as bad as I made it sound. Hey, I watched the whole damn thing.)

Detective Academy Q ~ Based on the manga/anime about kids who rip off "Conan"/"Case Closed" in order to solve mysteries and murders. Includes some bitch working at a maid cafe. I do like the ending song for some reason. Oh well, I never said I wasn't stupid.

Anyhoo, make sure you have a good block of time to sit down and watch! You'll be hooked!

Project Runway 4 Starts Tonight!

Hurray!

I will actually be taking a break from my grueling gaming schedule to watch, and judging from the previews, it'll be super duper dramatic with the fifty queens on it. LOVE IT!

Anyhoo, here is the official Bravo site:

http://www.bravotv.com/Project_Runway/season/4/bios/index.php

And here is my predicted show favourite:

"If I were a fabric, I'd be...leopard!"

Ahh! Sorry Call of Duty 4...but you must endure an hour with me gone!

Gamer Revolution: 4 Part Look Into Gaming Today

Not only am I on TeamSpeak randomly yelling at guildies or singing along to musicals while I game, but I also like to watch documentaries on my other comp as well (it's called multi-tasking, aka., being a spaz). I watched this while hunting up sexy items for Guy Fawkes' day and was actually pretty good!

Computer games are a global phenomenon and a $25 billion dollar a year industry. Over 800 million people worldwide are regular players. GAMER REVOLUTION, shot in HD, is the first full-length documentary to look past the hype, paranoia, and hoopla to explore the real stories behind the computer game revolution.

You can check out the official CBC-TV blurbage here, and watch it below!

Part 1 Star Craft, crazy, well coiffed professional Korean gamers & their Fan Clubs (complete with cheer readers).
Part 2 FPSs, Army recruitment through games, and why games that promote getting head shots are "evil."
Part 3 A Romanian veterinarian hopeful pays for schooling by power leveling stupid rich people who think games like "City of Heroes" is too hard.
Part 4 Virtual boobies! People who can't sing (and have terrible fashion sense) in the real world make it big in the on line world (after paying $100K for virtual spaceships.)

Fun times!

I'm going to say part 3 was my fave part just because of the intro about the Romanian power leveler. But part 4 has titties.

Mini Warning: Guba may load slow for you but it works fine for me. If you really want to see this just pause Guba, let the movie load up and then watch it.

Most Haunted Live: The Winchester Mystery House 10/19/07 @ 9PM EST

This show has fake fake fake written all over it. There's terrible "acting" and terrible manly man machismo conveniently following by hilarious "latching onto the person closest to you and screaming like little girls" action.

It's so bad, it's good! And I love it!

Last year they went to Eastern State Penitentiary where Kyle and Stu (the "macho" guys) tried to shove each other over the railing for massive laffs, so I can't wait to see how they'll top that. Maybe they'll try to throw each other from the top of the Mystery House? HILARITY!

Anyhoo, here is the Travel Channel's official info:

After their successful investigation at Philadelphia's Eastern State Penitentiary, the 'Most Haunted Live' team returns to the United States to investigate the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, Calif. on Oct. 19.

Join head investigator, Yvette Fielding, spiritual medium, David Wells, and the rest of the 'Most Haunted Live' team conduct their 7-hour investigation. Armed with night-vision cameras, thermal-imaging devices and other ghost hunting tools, the team will investigate the mansion and attempt to communicate with the paranormal.

Their investigation will lead them into the basement, through secret passageways, and to the mysterious séance room. Sarah Winchester sought help from spirits in the séance room. They helped guide her vision to build what is now a 161-room estate. The architecture of the house - doors that lead to steep drop-offs; stairs that lead to ceilings; and a skylight built inside the house – will add an element of surprise during the live investigation.

TV viewers and users will get the full 'Most Haunted Live' experience with multiple Webcams streaming live images from selected areas within the mansion. Users will actively participate in the broadcast. They will post paranormal sightings, well wishes for the team, and suggestions on rooms to investigate.

Users will also have an opportunity to send their predictions and premonitions via message boards, text messaging, and faxing in their psychic art. Selected user-submitted content will be presented during the interactive segments of the event, as well as scrolled across the bottom of the screen during the live investigation.

Join the 'Most Haunted Live' team on Friday, Oct. 19 at 9 p.m. ET. as they seek out paranormal activity and communicate with the spirits that still roam the halls of Winchester Mystery House - the house that fear built.

Captain N: The Game Master

Remember this show? (Oh yeah, I'm totally dating myself.) But I did watch it back in the day. I remember people fighting over who was cuter? Kevin or Kidd Video (Kidd Video being another terrible terrible terrible show from back then.) So 80s! And even more awesome!

Anyhoo, you can watch a bunch of episodes at the link below, but beware! They're cheesestastic:

Linky Linky

The Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_N:_The_Game_Master

Back in the day, it was pretty good in an innocent sort of way. But then I watched a couple episodes again at TV Links and holy shit! There's this part where King Hippo and the Eggplant Wizard get into a fight over some "lubrication" and King Hippo threatens to "toss [his] salad."

I never would have thought anything but, "Oh, those goofy guys," back then, but now...it's super laff-a-thon.

And if you like it THAT much, you can order the complete (official) series at the link below:

American Gladiators: They'll Be Back

*cry*

Is this what we've all come to? Are our lives so sad that we need us some more action from Nitro? And Blaze? And Gemini!!?? Wow. And I thought "Cave Men" was bad (it is)...and fuckin' "Let's Make a Deal," where all you need to be good at is number recognition to 100. *snickers*

But "American Gladiators" commits a much worse sin...it's cheesy as all hell! I hope Chapelle does a skit on it involving Prince and pancakes.

You can read more about it below at Variety.

Excitement! I can't wait to watch it! (DOH!)

An Evening With Kevin Smith

I saw the first one that was released back in 2002 and that was pretty funny since it wasn't as much schtick. If you enjoy his shit, I would definitely recommend the first part(IMDB info.) But I finally caught the 2nd part, called, "An Evening With Kevin Smith: Evening Harder," and while it has its moment, the Toronto part was like watching a terrible stand up act. (IMDB info for the 2nd part.) Gimme Wanda Sykes any day. Seriously.

Anyhoo, just wanted to share XD
