Q: What's included with the US pre-order for Hellgate: London?
A: If you pre-order Hellgate: London from one of the participating US retailers (EB Games/Gamestop, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart), you will receive a special code that features three benefits:
* An exclusive in-game Dye Kit - This item will give you an exclusive color scheme for any and all armor you find in the game. Each retailer is associated with a different color Dye Kit, so if you have a preference, make sure you check them out before you pre-order.
* A Beta invite - You'll be invited to participate in the Hellgate: London Beta Program which will start in the coming weeks.
* Eligibility for the Founders Offer - This offer lets you pay a one-time fee of $149.99 for a lifetime membership to the game.

Q: I already pre-ordered Hellgate: London before I was aware of the aforementioned promotion. What can I do to get it?
A: Unfortunately, this is out of our control. We suggest talking to the retailer you purchased your pre-order from about possible solutions. However, if you ordered through www.EA.com, we're working on getting all of you a special Dye Kit, as well as the other pre-order benefits.
Q: Why is European subscription pricing for Hellgate: London €9.99 per month? That isn’t really equal to $9.99 USD, y'know…
A: The European Union (EU) uses a value added tax system, more commonly referred to at VAT. This makes for general increases in price compared to other countries for similar services, hence the delta in the exchange rate. There's a boatload of information regarding VAT online, so Google it up if you're curious.
Q: I live in the US. My friends live in Europe. Can we play with each other online in Hellgate: London?
A: Yes, although you will need to create a separate account for the US and European realms. While our server structure is much larger than traditional MMOs, it is divided by large geographical areas, requiring discreet databases and player server clusters. Of course, with free play in both the US and Europe, it’s a simple matter to have characters no matter on which side of the Atlantic you're playing.
Q: I’m interested in the US pre-order package that contains the exclusive Dye Kit, Founders Offer, and Beta invite. The problem is I don’t live in the US. Why can’t I find this same offer in my country?
A: Hellgate: London pre-order packages are handled by our publishing partners in their respective territories. Any promotion that does or does not appear in your country is out of our control.
Q: If I buy a US pre-order and live in a different country, will the Dye Kit, Beta invite, and Founders Offer still be available to me?
A: Yes, but only on the servers in the same region where the pre-order was made, and each region will have its own Founders Offer.
Q: I've pre-ordered Hellgate: London through one of the listed promotional partners. Where's my code?
A: Please contact the respective dealer for information on their method of delivery.
Q: I haven't pre-ordered the game yet. Can I still be in the Beta?

Q: Will there be a Mac and/or Linux version of Hellgate: London?
A: While we'd LOVE to see Hellgate: London on every OS platform possible, we simply don't have the resources to do so at this point. This doesn't rule out anything in the future, but for now, there are no plans.
Q: How about an Xbox 360 version?

Q: What are the minimum PC specs for running Hellgate: London? Should I buy a new PC?
A: The minimum PC specs for North America and Europe are as follows:
* OS: Windows XP with SP2 or Windows Vista
* Processor: 1 .8GHz or faster (2.4GHz for Vista)
* RAM: 1GB or more (2GB for Vista)
* Video: DirectX 9.0c/10 compatible device w/ 128MB RAM or better and Pixel Shader 2.0 support; requires NVIDIA GeForce 6200/ATI Radeon 9000 chipset or greater
* Audio: DirectX 9.0c compatible device
* Disc drive: 8x DVD or faster
* Hard drive: 6 GB or more free space
* Input: Keyboard and mouse

I ordered my pre-order from the GameStop around me and according to them they haven't gotten the pre-order packs yet (9/13/07). Once they get 'em they're supposed to be calling us though. *sniffles*
