Wine no Hajimekata (An Introduction to Wine) Coming to the DS!

According to trusty Game Watch, Square-Enix and Mercian Co will be releasing "Wine no Hajimekata/An Introduction to Wine," this November 15th, 2007 for the Nintendo DS over in Japan...and of course, it comes packaged as a set with...dat dan daaaan, a bottle of red wine. Yes, you can further your already outcast status (through excessive gaming) by now DRINKING and gaming all at once, for "Intro," teaches you how to drink wine properly.

In addition to teaching wine etiquette, the DS game will also assist with choosing the right wine for the right time, and even gives you fancy "phrases" to say to the ladies during a wine tasting event involving the scent of bananas.

Oh, and then you get points for.......DRINKING, BUYING and TASTING wine. The more you buy, the more you drink, the more your virtual sommelier (thank you "Top Chef"!) gives you props. GENIUS!

Come to think of it, maybe this would get my Dad to start playing video games?

Meanwhile, I'll go get drunk off of a souffle again.
